The Kiwanis Marine Park, on the banks of the Yamhill River, originated as a part of the land purchase by the club from Lee Waugaman. Lee was a Past President of our club. The Park was subsequently donated to the City of McMinnville by the club and is now part of the McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department. We still take great pride by helping to keep the park clean and pleasing to the many guests that visit it yearly.
